Sowerbutt's Theatre

The Brigadier enjoyed the theatre. Bombs permitting, he occasionally dropped into one of the Aldwych theatres in the evening. But he was not enjoying the two-hour production of Aladdin. Perhaps it was the hundreds of children and their families in the Grand Theatre, Luton, laughing and shouting at the twists and turns of the traditional plot.
